  • Boyd Conservation Area
    Located on Islington Avenue, Boyd Conservation Area embodies the very essence of natural beauty. The tall trees and long winding paths brush alongside the calming shores of the Humber River Valley where you can admire the picturesque views in the distance. There are many trails that lead you towards Boyd Park, but the beauty lies in the conservation area itself. You can set up a picnic, walk the dogs, or just lay on the fresh green grass and soak in the sunshine. It is also a great location to host summer events including, family BBQs, employee luncheons or day camps.
  • Nashville Conservation Reserve
    The Nashville Reserve is one of Vaughan’s largest conservation parks where hikers, bikers and joggers can explore the 2,000 acres of majestic forest. The terrain upholds historic representation as it is a part of Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA) natural heritage system. The trail is suited for experienced and recreational hikers to trek through the beautiful paths and enjoy the quaint outdoors.
  • Humber River Trail
    Connecting into Boyd Park, the Humber River Trail stretches to the William Granger Greenway and cuts through the charming Village in Kleinburg, where you can visit the McMichael Art Gallery once you’ve reached the end. The path is wide enough for families to ride or walk alongside one another but are to be cautious of any ground changes to the trail. If you begin at Rutherford Road, depending on your pace, the route takes about 30mins to complete.
  • Marita Payne Park
    A picturesque trail known to provide hikers with a peaceful stroll around Vaughan. There is more fun further into Marita Payne Park with a playground, baseball diamond and resting area for people to enjoy. Cross over the small bridge and sit by the pond to watch a family of ducks swim by on a hot summer day.
  • Mill Pond Park Stroll down Mill Pond Park boardwalk and relax under the shaded gazebo by the lake. As you walk the trail, the views of the pond are absolutely stunning and is the perfect place to have a personal photoshoot. Additionally, the park is known for its refreshing splash area and Millennium Garden that is just south of the main parking lot.
  • Saigeon Trail
    If you are a frequent hiker and are looking for an upper level trail, Saigeon Trail is the place for you! Although there are simpler walking paths within the park, this is an excellent trail to build up your endurance as it is used for running, hiking and bike riding.
